Mortal Kombat 11 is a brutal and bloody fighting game developed by NetherRealm Studios. It’s the eleventh main installment in the long-running Mortal Kombat franchise, serving as a sequel to 2015’s Mortal Kombat X. The story follows Earthrealm’s defenders in a fight against the new villain Kronika, who seeks to manipulate time and rewrite history. This two-part narrative offers a unique perspective and consequences for your actions. Mortal Kombat 11 builds upon the series’ core fighting with the introduction of the new Fatal Blow system, a powerful cinematic attack available when near defeat. The returning Custom Characters system allows for deep customization of your fighter’s appearance and abilities. The base game features a large roster of iconic Mortal Kombat characters, with additional fighters available through downloadable content (DLC). These kombatants each have unique fighting styles and special moves to master. The game offers a variety of modes to play, including the story mode, Klassic Towers for single-player challenges, online ranked and casual matches, and Krypt, an explorable mode with hidden rewards.
